This little book locket brooch is the perfect book-lover gift! An exquisite little silver book suspended by a ribbon-style pin. It's easy to pin on a Bridal bouquet as a special memory locket or to wear on a blouse, or jacket lapel. The book locket opens to reveal two tiny facing oval openings, each 11/16" x 1/2" (17mm x 12mm) where you could personalize with (very small) photos of a loved one or perhaps a special saying you wish to keep close to your heart.

Size: The locket is 15/16" (23mm) long and 11/16" (17mm) wide. The interior oval spaces are 11/16" x 1/2" (17mm x 12mm) - so they are tiny. It is silver-plated brass. The brooch pin mechanism is a horizontal twist lock style.

The brooch appealed to me as I work in our city's library system, so the beautiful little book really caught my eye. The book actually opens and although it wasn't designed to appear as a book to read, there are opposing portraiture frames that can actually accept pictures or other paper based items! The design is well done, with a fair level of detail. The book being mounted on the brooch via small jewelry loops allows it to move as you do, adding to its charm and is eye-catching. Overall a very nice purchase. I didn't rate customer service as I had no need to make contact. The purchase went as you would hope: Just fine!
